Sorcerer Slayer
A professional mage-killer finding out he can use magic is a problem with a lot of potential. That is the situation in Sorcerer Slayer, where a woman’s visit after the protagonist’s father dies upends his life and sends him toward a dangerous new challenge.
Three early routes take the story in different directions, including one involving Vivian, a demon. The cast draws on anime and game parody designs, and the character models are among the current release’s strengths. There are adult scenes already, though the focus and available content vary by route.
The game moves so quickly that its protagonist can be hard to pin down. One moment he seems like the capable, guarded killer the premise promises; the next, his reactions feel oddly passive. Short routes and unexpected timed inputs add to the uneven feel. Its look and central idea are appealing, but the story still needs room to settle.
