Selara makes you the new Commander of The Herald at possibly the worst time to wake up: your crew is fighting a mutiny, supplies are failing, and humanity’s future rests aboard the ship. Once you’ve dealt with the immediate danger, you’ll grow closer to the women helping you survive, from your squad leader and medical scientist to the AI watching over the vessel. Alien encounters bring further complications, and some much stranger temptations.
Romance and sex are woven through the survival story, with choices affecting which crew members you pursue. The developer describes Selara as a story-focused game rather than a harem sim, with some planned kinks designed to be avoidable and no NTR intended. Stat checks can also turn a failed decision into a different scene, although several larger events follow a set path.
The character models and space setting give the game plenty of visual appeal, but the adult animations vary in quality and some encounters arrive with little buildup. Its exploration sections can feel repetitive when you need to speak to everyone to move on. All dialogue uses AI-generated voice acting, and the delivery can sound flat; it can be disabled. If you’re after a horny crew adventure with a survival plot around it, Selara has an ongoing story to follow.
