The game is presented as a new project from Kosmos Games and a fresh take on the open-world sandbox idea behind Bright Future. This time, the focus moves to a girl protagonist and a modern setting built for exploration. You meet the main characters, learn about their backgrounds, and follow a main storyline while still having space to manage ordinary actions across the day.
What makes Bright Past stand out is that it is not just a visual novel with a map attached. Players describe it more as a grind-style game with lots of story elements. Time matters. The day is broken into activities, and each action can take minutes from your schedule.
