Being Super
Being Super turns an ordinary final checkup into the start of a superhero origin story. The 21-year-old protagonist has spent his life taking medication after a meteor shower struck Quiettown on the day he was born. Once the truth comes out, he discovers both superhuman abilities and an uncomfortable inheritance: his father was an alien conqueror who failed to take Earth. The power is now his, but the role he chooses is not predetermined.
Choices steer the protagonist toward heroism, villainy, or a more self-serving position between the two. Those decisions are tied to relationships rather than kept in a separate morality meter. Ruby, Nikki, Anna, Taylor, and the wider cast respond to how the protagonist handles pressure, affection, and authority. Players can also choose between two protagonist appearances, while route decisions alter which scenes and character dynamics become available.
Quiettown does not remain the only stage for long. A portal allows powerful beings from other universes to enter the story, widening the conflict and giving the game a playful comic-book energy. Familiar superhero ideas are present, but the most effective sections connect them to everyday consequences: explaining strange behavior, deciding whom to trust, and working out whether the protagonist's family protected him or controlled him.
Being Super is a choice-based 3D visual novel, not an action game. Its appeal comes from branching conversations, alternate moral paths, and the contrast between intimate character scenes and a growing multiverse threat. The gallery encourages replay, since a single route will not reveal every outcome. Chapter 1 v0.29D is still an in-development build, so some story threads remain open, but the main premise and the hero-versus-villain split are already well established.
