Beehive
Beehive sends a down-on-his-luck veteran to a tropical island where meeting beautiful women comes with some unsettling conditions. He's joined a secret project intended to address humanity's falling birth rates, and the people funding his new life have little respect for privacy or personal freedom. Building relationships means getting to know the other participants while questioning how much of this paradise has been arranged for you. Based on the developer's dystopian novel, Project Beehive, the game combines harem romance with an experiment whose ambitions reach well beyond the island.
The women bring different personalities, hobbies, and hopes to the retreat, giving you reasons to spend time with them beyond their looks. Human characters share the setting with elves and monster girls, adding some fantasy variety to the cast. The game is built around pursuing relationships with multiple women, with affection and adult encounters sharing space in their progression. Exploring together and taking photographs suit the holiday atmosphere, even while the island's constant surveillance makes those private moments feel less private.
Expect a vulnerable, frequently awkward lead rather than an assured soldier taking charge from the start. His passivity may test your patience, particularly when the experiment already gives him plenty of reasons to ask questions. The balance between guided story and free exploration is also still taking shape as development continues. If you enjoy getting close to a varied cast of women while investigating the motives of the people who brought you together, Beehive's combination of romance and dystopian intrigue is a good reason to visit.
