RunaMaw drops Miyuki and her friends into a nasty arrangement with the Maskerades, a mafia-like organization they cannot simply walk away from. Their work takes them between the criminal world above and the Runa corridors below, where shrunken people face dangers much bigger than themselves. Miyuki's hope of reclaiming her freedom gives the journey a reason to keep moving beyond the next boss fight.
The turn-based battles revolve around character builds and elemental weaknesses. Hit a foe where it hurts often enough and its defenses break, giving the party a chance to pile on more damage. Giant enemies can seize a party member mid-fight, turning the next few turns into a desperate escape attempt. Let that character's health sink too far while trapped, and the battle can end in a vore-themed defeat scene. The giantess bosses receive the most memorable models and cutscenes, along with some properly humiliating outcomes.
There is more RPG than porn in the current build, so anyone expecting a new sex scene after every encounter should adjust their expectations. Most regular enemies lack the grabs and mid-battle personality that make the bosses fun, and some boss fights run longer than they need to. Still, the weakness system makes combat satisfying, the tiny-versus-giant stakes suit the fetish, and Miyuki's uneasy life under the Maskerades gives this more to chew on than a simple gallery of bad ends.
