Out of Puberty: Reimagined follows Pearl, a young woman eager to get out from under her family's expectations. Her plans for independence put her in contact with a varied cast, from friends and coworkers to people with less friendly intentions. The tone stays mischievous even as her situation becomes a much bigger mess than simply wanting to move out.
Honey Select character art and animated scenes give the game much of its appeal, especially if voluptuous designs are your thing. Its sandbox lets you build progress through everyday activities and discover scenes around town. Corruption, exploitation, and taboo family themes feature prominently, with a pace that gives you plenty to work toward, though it may feel grindy rather than gradual for some players.
Development is ongoing, and the hints don't always make the next step clear. Pearl can also seem too easily pushed around for a protagonist trying to take charge of her life. Some bonus material belongs to the paid edition. If the character designs and busy sandbox catch your interest, there's plenty to explore, with a little patience for the uneven progression.
