New Tail
New Tail drops you into another world after a laboratory escape goes off course. A friendly bunny girl brings you to her farm, giving you somewhere to start while you figure out your new surroundings. The town introduces more animal girls, including a sleepy kitty, a foxy mayor, a dragon girl, and a loyal dog girl. Building affection unlocks their events, while the unanswered questions from the opening give you something to follow beyond the daily routine.
The character art and animations are the clearest reasons to take a look. The girls have appealing designs, and small movements and idle moments help them feel present even when there isn't a major event happening. The adult scenes are short, but the attention to presentation shows. There's a gentle appeal to getting familiar with the town and finding a favorite among its residents, especially if animal girls are already your thing.
The trouble is how often you'll repeat the same activities before seeing something new. Conversations run out quickly, affection takes work, and finishing a girl's available events can leave little else to do with her for a while. The English also needs editing, with odd phrases occasionally interrupting otherwise cute moments. This is easier to enjoy when you're happy to sample a developing fantasy sandbox and spend time with its cast. The girls have charm; the game still needs more ways to make that time together interesting.
