Deliverance
Deliverance mixes an adult visual novel with a detective thriller built around a protagonist who has already spent most of his life being the competent guy in the room. He is an experienced police detective, known for solving difficult cases and catching criminals, until a major failure forces him to question everything he thought he controlled. From there, the story becomes less about routine investigation and more about consequences: old decisions return, hidden forces begin moving around him, and the player gradually decides whether this former lawman still wants to be the hero of his own story.
That moral split is the most important gameplay idea. Deliverance allows you to treat the women you meet with genuine respect, exploit opportunities for your own benefit, or mix both approaches depending on the situation. Rather than giving you a single fixed personality, the game keeps asking what kind of detective you want to become. The result is a choice-driven story where the attraction comes from seeing how far the same character can drift depending on the player behind him.
Katherine, the protagonist's wife, is especially important because her relationship contains a deliberately optional branching route. Players can keep the relationship focused entirely on the couple, including its own kinky content, or choose a separate sharing path. According to the developer's own notes, the sharing route is not intended as a punishment mechanic, and opting out does not mean being starved of content. The two alternatives were designed to remain roughly balanced. A small amount of optional FFM threesome and lesbian content also exists, while the wider game includes voyeurism, exhibitionism, cheating choices, blackmail, adult encounters and increasingly strange supernatural elements.
Despite the adult focus, this is not a short scene collection. Deliverance grew into a substantial chapter-based production. Individual late chapters regularly contain hundreds or more than a thousand renders: Chapter 8 lists 939 renders, Chapter 9 around 930, Chapters 10 and 11 around 1,100 each, Chapter 15 around 1,300, and the Final build another 1,240. Animation counts also rise considerably, with Chapter 11 featuring 54 and Chapter 15 featuring 52. The developer later revamped the early game and added a CG gallery with replayable material from earlier chapters.
Quality-of-life features expanded along the way as well. The game received a relationships menu, rollback controls, autosaving, additional save pages, interface changes, extra music, and Android-specific input adjustments. Those additions matter because Deliverance is much closer to a complete long-form VN than a lightweight episodic demo: the Final release closes a story that had accumulated a sizable amount of rendered and animated content across its chapters.
If you prefer adult games where sex scenes sit inside a larger mystery instead of replacing the plot, Deliverance has a distinctive angle. The detective premise gives you an immediate role, the hero-versus-villain decisions provide room for different play styles, and Katherine's optional branching relationship makes it possible to choose how adventurous—or exclusive—you want one of the game's central relationships to become.
