ALT CTRL DEL follows a family of four after an experimental invention sends them across parallel realities with no clear way back. The scientist responsible travels with his biologist wife, athletic son, and gifted daughter, each bringing a different perspective to the worlds they encounter. Their alternate selves complicate matters further, turning familiar appearances into something the family can't always trust. The appeal is seeing how the same people and places change when an entire society operates by different rules.
The game moves between science-fiction comedy, dystopian situations, and family disagreements as its setting changes. Some realities give individual characters unexpected importance, while others leave the whole group struggling to understand their surroundings.
