The Fate of Irnia begins with an inheritance delayed by a year. The protagonist's father, celebrated for defending Irnia during the previous orc invasion, died on his son's seventeenth birthday and left him a box that could only be opened after he came of age. When the now-adult protagonist finally breaks the seal, he discovers that his father's death, the kingdom's recurring war, and his own future are more closely connected than anyone had admitted.

Irnia has survived repeated invasions without solving the problem behind them. Humans, elves, dwarves, political leaders, soldiers, and supernatural powers all have different ideas about what should happen next. The protagonist can pursue peace, strengthen the army, build alliances, manipulate rivals, or allow private loyalties to guide public decisions. The result is a branching fantasy story rather than a single plot with cosmetic dialogue options.

Relationships are woven into the political structure. Sandy, Miriam, Morta, Ghorza, Xerana, Beatrice, Katrin, Leanor, the Queen, and other characters each open distinct routes. Some relationships can become romantic; others lead toward corruption, rivalry, service, or shared power. Decisions made early can alter scenes much later, and several routes require consistent choices rather than one obvious selection at the end.

The mysterious sphere offers red and blue forms of guidance. Which side the protagonist uses can shape his behavior, change another character's route, or determine whether a gentler or more controlling outcome remains possible. It is one of the game's clearest expressions of its central question: whether power should be used to influence people or whether trust must be earned without it.

The final conflict also depends on practical preparation. Players manage gold, improve the barracks and defenses, maintain morale, build the army, and decide which leaders can be trusted. Neglecting those systems can produce a very different ending from a route in which the kingdom is properly prepared. The walkthrough is long because the game contains genuinely divergent character and political branches, not merely a few alternate closing images.

Use multiple save files. Good points include the first major sphere decisions, the ball, the red tower, relationship commitments, the Queen's rescue, and the last round of military upgrades. A single run provides a complete story, but it cannot show every romance, alliance, corruption path, or ending.

The Fate of Irnia is finished, making it a better choice for players who want an adult fantasy visual novel with a resolved central conflict.
