The Beach House invites you to a sleepy coastal town where an unexpected event turns your quiet life upside down. Living with your financially struggling family, you must navigate your changing feelings for the women in your household—your supportive older sister, your younger sister, and your youthful mother. The game establishes distinct, dynamic relationships with all three main female characters, offering a mix of heavy flirting and explicit encounters.
The visual presentation is a major highlight, featuring excellent renders that change subtly during dialogue to keep scenes feeling alive. It is worth noting that the developer utilizes AI assets for both imagery and animations; while this allows for high-fidelity graphics, it can sometimes introduce visual artifacting. Furthermore, because the game is still in early development, the storyline currently relies on common visual novel tropes, and you will have to deal with a few annoying, stereotypical side characters.
If you can look past the occasionally clunky writing and early-development growing pains, it provides a highly attractive and engaging taboo family experience.
