Shadows of the Ascendant
Shadows of the Ascendant puts you in Eve’s shoes as she arrives at a secluded island sect full of secrets, ambition, and people who probably should not be trusted with supernatural powers. After the Primarch chooses her as both concubine and successor, everything starts going to hell fast, leaving Eve with a chance to investigate, manipulate, or grab power while everyone else is still panicking.
This one is sexy in a more devious way. Eve is not just there to be pushed around, she can play people, flirt, blackmail, seduce, or use persuasion powers to bend the situation in her favor. The branching lets you shape her as loyal, rebellious, power-hungry, curious, or dangerously horny, with straight, lesbian, and bi possibilities depending on the route.
Content is still early, so do not expect a huge finished story yet. A few character reactions may feel too quick, and some paths could use tighter continuity as development continues. Even so, the setup has real bite: a smart female lead, a remote cult island, supernatural mind games, and enough choice-driven tension to make another run feel worthwhile.
