In Project Venus, survival comes at a steep physical and moral cost. When society collapses under a sudden undead epidemic, office worker Jillian finds herself fighting through looters and zombies to locate her family. Enduring an infection that grants her superhuman resilience, she is taken in by a refuge church, tasked with venturing deep into infested grocery stores, police stations, and sewer networks to gather critical supplies for her fellow survivors.
The narrative mixes gritty zombie tropes with dark corruption encounters, focusing on heterosexual adult scenes with survivors, opportunistic traders, and manipulative leaders. The gameplay delivers surprisingly robust real-time shooting mechanics, varied firearm handling, crafting systems, and boss encounters rarely seen in the engine, backed by custom sprites and animated 3D renders.
Because the game remains in its early development stages, the experience can occasionally feel rough around the edges, with clunky traversal moments, save compatibility issues between updates, and adult content that feels somewhat disconnected from the tense survival atmosphere.
