Murmur focuses on deep character development and wholesome supernatural romance. Resurrected into a new body by a succubus-like goddess, you are forced to romance every girl you meet to generate power for her survival and your own. The game gives you incredible access to the personal lives and hidden kinks of six unique love interests, including a shy classmate, a sporty sister, and two gorgeous older women. Every character is designed with highly polished Honey Select assets, making every facial expression feel incredibly lifelike.
This is not a fast-paced game. It requires patience as you navigate exceptionally long, chatty scenes filled with the protagonist's inner thoughts. The progression relies on a dynamic Love/Lewd choice system where you can tailor the tone of your encounters. Lewd choices often lead to faster, steamier gratification, while Love choices offer softer, romantic build-ups. The girls are very sweet and stereotypical drama is almost non-existent, making it a very lighthearted ride.
Because it is still a work-in-progress with a notorious reputation for long waits between updates, the actual explicit sex scenes are currently quite limited. However, if you enjoy a very slow-paced narrative where you slowly chip away at a girl's defenses with beautiful high-quality renders, this is a solid choice to pass the time.
