Lab Rats 2 - Reformulate takes the pharmaceutical empire from Vren's Lab Rats 2 and gives players more ways to shape it. Research serums, hire and manage staff, develop the business, and influence employees as your operation grows. This version includes additions by Tristim, LZ_Starbuck, and Trollden, with an emphasis on giving you options in a large sandbox.
You'll see why people keep coming back to its systems. The business loop is surprisingly satisfying, and adjusting attributes, outfits, and relationships gives you plenty to do between story events. You can take your time or use the built-in cheat menu to cut down on grinding. There's a great deal of writing and content to uncover, even if the named character stories don't always reach a conclusion.
The scenes themselves are where expectations matter. Much of the adult content is described in text beside small models and simple poses, with little visual movement. Some players enjoy the writing enough that this works for them; others find the reward underwhelming. The busy interface, obscure triggers, and reported progression bugs can also get in the way. It's an unusually deep trainer if you enjoy experimenting with systems, but a rough pick if polished visuals are your main reason to play.
