Happily Ever After: Rethought
Happily Ever After: Rethought begins with Amy and Manuel inheriting a house and bar just after getting married. Their new arrangement becomes much more complicated when Manuel's adoptive brother Daniel moves in to help. Amy meets him in person for the first time, and their growing connection pulls her away from the life she and Manuel expected to share.
Amy looks great, and the clean renders give her plenty of presence even when the plot follows familiar NTR territory. The reworked version plays as a visual novel, so you can follow the story without managing the old sandbox routine. You can make choices around some relationships, but Daniel's path is mandatory and cheating cannot be avoided. The other routes can be left alone.
I think the premise works best when Amy seems to understand the choices she's making. The writing doesn't always give her that clarity: her attitude can swing between scenes, while Manuel sometimes accepts suspicious situations far too easily. Several choices also appear to converge on the same outcome. There are hints of a more personal betrayal story here, but the current appeal rests mainly on Amy, the renders, and the steady progression of her relationship with Daniel.
