Forbidden Dungeon
Forbidden Dungeon is a dark and punishing adult visual novel that takes the heavy atmosphere of a hardcore roguelike and mixes it with corruption fetishes. Acting as a commander, you hire different classes of heroes to delve into randomized dungeons filled with traps, loot, and aggressive monsters. The combat system lets you target any enemy slot, but the monsters can do the exact same to your party. It is a brutal loop of risk and reward where failure means your heroes are subjected to loss scenes featuring monsters, BDSM, and exhibitionism.
Because the project is still in its early demo stages, players should expect a very unbalanced experience. The difficulty curve is extremely sharp, often wiping out your best characters in a single turn and forcing you to grind low-level areas just to rebuild your roster. Additionally, the game was built using the Ren'Py engine and relies entirely on AI-generated art. This limits some of the gameplay mechanics and makes the vanilla adult scenes feel a bit static compared to fully hand-drawn games.
Even with those flaws, the progression system is surprisingly engaging and keeps you coming back for one more run. The foundation is solid for those who enjoy a true challenge mixed with dark fantasy themes. If you are a fan of punishing dungeon crawlers and want a hentai game where losing leads to twisted corruption scenes, this is worth checking out.
