Dualist Dark Alliance
Westfeld has found a way to charge for almost everything, from hot water to the air in its homes. Scarlett and The Slaughterins have been hitting its corporate rulers from the dark web for years. Now, in Dualist Dark Alliance, she is taking the fight onto the streets and setting her sights on the whole city.
The appeal is playing a female protagonist who already knows what she wants. This is a story-led VN without sandbox chores or grinding, and players can decide whether Scarlett pursues sexual encounters. The developer also describes lesbian, bi, and straight routes, giving her relationships room to follow different directions as the game grows.
Its first release has a striking mood, helped considerably by music that fits the scenes. The presentation is rougher elsewhere: blurry renders, unusual camera angles, and stretches of black screen sometimes get in the story’s way. Adult scenes are limited at this stage, so Scarlett’s campaign against Westfeld is the main reason to check in.
