Agent Sherine
Agent Sherine: Dancing Fox puts Sherine Hale undercover in an oil tycoon's world. Her assignment is to reach his home network and plant spy software, but getting close enough means dealing with people who have money, influence, and reasons to distrust her. Sherine's confidence makes her enjoyable to follow, especially when the mission tests the limits she has set for herself.
The game looks and sounds closer to an interactive movie than a typical visual novel. It uses AI for its animated sequences and voices, and Movie Mode is arguably the smoothest way to experience that approach. Some scenes have striking expressions and atmosphere. Others suffer from stiff lip movements, inconsistent detail, or voices that miss the emotion of a line. The adult content becomes more prominent later, though the story sometimes wanders away from the espionage premise to get there.
I can admire how much work has gone into this experiment while still wishing Sherine had more control in the player's hands. Choices are present, and some players report different outcomes, but much of the experience feels guided. A few dialogue exchanges and plot turns are awkward too. If the cinematic style catches your eye, it's a distinctive game to try; if you want to direct every part of Sherine's spy career, the current story may feel restrictive.
